FIELD: rotary equipment.
SUBSTANCE: rotary-plate device is designed to convert reciprocating motion into rotational motion without using a crank mechanism. The rotary-plate device can be used as either a pump, or a compressor, or a hydraulic pneumatic drive, or a silent vacuum cleaner. The rotary-plate device includes stator (2), brackets with support rollers, side covers, rotor (1), and at least two piston plates (8). Stator (2) has a cylindrical shape with inlet and outlet (6), (6'). Brackets with support rollers move on the outer surface of stator (2). Side covers are made with annular grooves. Rotor (1) is located non-coaxially relatively to stator (2) to form chambers of unequal volume. Rotor (1) is made with at least two radial grooves. At least two piston plates (8) are installed in radial grooves with the possibility of reciprocating motion. Working piston plates (8) have a length greater than the length of rotor (1) body, protruding from rotor grooves. Working piston plates (8) enter radial grooves of support disks installed on both sides of rotor (1) so that grooves of support disks coincide with rotor grooves. Working piston plates (8), leaving grooves of rotor (1) as much as possible, remain in grooves of support disks. For tightness, additional seal is inserted into radial grooves. Annular grooves in side covers are used to distribute the pressure that occurs under plates, and are made at the level of radial grooves located in the rotor.
EFFECT: increase in the tightness, as well as an increase in the useful internal volume and service life of the device.
