FIELD: sanitation and hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sanitation and hygiene, namely to the disinfection of air in the interiors of vehicles equipped with heating systems and supply and exhaust ventilation. A device for air disinfection in vehicle interiors is proposed, including an air intake module consisting of an external and recirculating internal air intake, a flap regulating the ratio of air flows passing through these air receivers, an air filter, while a heat exchange converter is installed inside the disinfection chamber, made in the form of a heater radiator and connected through the inlet and outlet pipes to the liquid cooling system of the automobile internal combustion engine. At the entrance of the working disinfection chamber, an air heating regulator flap is installed, which provides a change in the ratio of air flows passing through and past the heat exchange converter, while the outlet of the working disinfection chamber through the exhaust duct is connected to a system of air ducts equipped with air flow distribution flaps directed to the air ducts and deflectors of the vehicle interior and windscreen. The device also contains a heated air temperature sensor installed in the exhaust duct, connected to a temperature indicator, according to which a decision is made on the position of the flap regulating the ratio of air flows passing through the external and recirculating internal air intake. The recirculating internal air intake is designed with the possibility of complete overlap in the case of an indication of the heated air temperature below the level t1 of the lower limit of infection inactivation, followed by the resumption of the recirculation mode when the heated air temperature reaches above the level t2>t1. A method for disinfecting the air in the interiors of vehicles using this device is also proposed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective and safe disinfection of air from airborne and air-dust infection in the salons of various vehicles equipped with an internal combustion engine.
