FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the objects of power engineering. A space power plant with machine energy conversion in a closed circuit with a gaseous working medium implementing the Brighton thermodynamic cycle, which includes a heat source, a compressor kinematically connected to an electric generator, a heat regenerator, a refrigerator heat exchanger for removing low-potential heat from a gaseous working medium by means of a liquid coolant. On the turbocharger shaft, a hydraulic seal is installed between the compressor and the turbine in the form of a two-way impeller with two spinners separated by a disk, the periphery of which is connected by one pipeline, including a shut-off valve, with the output of an electric pump, the input of which is connected to the main line for supplying liquid coolant to the refrigerator heat exchanger, and the other pipeline, including a throttle washer and a check valve, with the main line for removing liquid coolant from the heat refrigerator exchanger.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of turbocharger power plants with a gaseous working fluid by eliminating leaks from the compressor to the turbine.
