FIELD: treatment of gases.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation of components of gas mixtures and can be used to isolate one or several target components or to purify gases from impurities. The method for purification of gases includes supply of the initial gas flow to a supersonic nozzle, expansion of the gas while cooling with effluence thereof at supersonic speed, subsequent intake of the gas flow by the working chamber, supplied to the entrance whereof is an additional solid particle flow, desublimation of the extracted components on the surface of the solid particles, and subsequent separation of the solid and gas phases. The initial gas flow can be cooled by heat exchange with the gas flow expanded in the supersonic nozzle. The composition of solid particles supplied to the working chamber may coincide with the composition of the material isolated from the gas stream as a result of desublimation.
EFFECT: method provides a possibility to remove the target component nearly completely and to separate solid particles more easily and reliably.
