SUBSTANCE: apparatus for generating the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) spectrum comprises a resonator for forming the electromagnetic FPU spectrum (FPU-resonator), containing a two-arm generator for oscillation generation, each arm whereof comprises a coil, a capacitor, and a nonlinear controlled electronic element, wherein said coils of the two-arm generator have opposite winding and are connected in opposition, have the same amount and the same diameter of turns, and the turns of one coil are placed alternately between the turns of the other coil, wherein the arms of the generator are connected so as to ensure generation of oscillations due to the positive feedback between the arms of the generator, a power supply unit for supplying power to the coil connection point, and an activation circuit connected to the two-arm generator. Also proposed are a medical apparatus for therapeutic effects on pathological foci in body tissues and a method for therapeutic effect on pathological foci in body tissues by means of resonant effect on the return FPU spectra in body tissues.
