FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and equipment repair, in particular, to application of polymer coatings on mounting seats of bearings in metal parts of machines. Described is a composition for coating metal products in units of machines, including varnish "F-40" constituting a solution of a rubber composition and modified phenolic resin in an organic solvent, and carbon nanotubes by the brand "Taunite-M" with the following ratio of ingredients, % wt.: varnish "F-40" 99.9 to 99.95, carbon nanotubes by the brand "Taunite-M" 0.05 to 0.1.
EFFECT: increase in the deformation and strength properties of films, namely, the specific fracture work characterising the resistance of the material to cyclic loads and the durability of polymer coatings, the reliability of units of the machine.
