SUBSTANCE: for improvement, a jet propulsion unit includes a jet propulsion combustion chamber having a jet propulsion cavity, which has the first section, the second section adjacent to it and the third section adjacent to the second section, wherein the jet propulsion cavity in all three sections is limited by an outer wall of a nozzle with an outer surface of the jet propulsion cavity, wherein the outer surface of the jet propulsion cavity in the first and second sections narrows to the third section, in the third section, it expands from the second section, and at a transition from the second section to the third section, the narrowest plot is made, wherein the first section is limited by an inner wall of the nozzle with an inner surface of the jet propulsion cavity, which narrows to the second section, wherein an annular combustion chamber is made between the inner surface of the jet propulsion cavity and the outer surface of the jet propulsion cavity, which extends along the first section, wherein the jet propulsion unit also includes several first fuel inlets for the first fuel component and several second fuel inlets for the second fuel component, while, in order to increase the efficiency of the jet propulsion unit, the outer wall of the nozzle includes at least part of several first fuel inlets.
EFFECT: obtaining a jet propulsion unit and a method for operating it.
