SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil well perforation systems. The device for initiating an oil well perforator contains a housing with sequentially installed ignition heads located in it, excited by shock mechanisms independent of each other, connected to means of transmitting detonation energy to cumulative charges located in the said perforator, one of which is made with the possibility of excitation from liquid pressure, and the housing is equipped with a means for creating liquid pressure for its initiation through the annular space. The device is equipped with a connector located in the lower part of the housing, in the upper and lower parts of which there are detonation transmission devices connected in pairs with detonation cords. Each detonation transmission device installed in the upper part of the connector is connected with the corresponding igniter head, and a means of transferring energy of detonation between one of igniting heads and the corresponding detonation transmission device is a detonation cord, and a means to create pressure for the initiation of the igniter head made in the housing in the form of holes, the ratio of their cross-sectional area to the cross-sectional area of the shock mechanism that triggers the igniter head is K*Si ≥ S2, where K is the firing coefficient of the ignition head, where 2 ≤ K ≤ 4; Si the cross-sectional area of the opening of the means for creating pressure; S2 is the cross-sectional area of the impact mechanism.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the reliability of the device and an increase in safety when lifting to the surface after operation.
