FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in thermal control systems, in particular, systems for ensuring the thermal regime of the onboard equipment of spacecraft. An adjustable loop heat pipe contains an evaporator, a condenser, a steam line, a condensate line, a three-way valve with an actuator and a bypass line. The evaporator outlet is connected to the inlet of the three-way valve, the first valve outlet is connected to the inlet to the condenser, and the second valve outlet is connected to the bypass line, while the condenser outlet is connected to the evaporator inlet through the condensate line and to the three-way valve through the bypass line. The three-way valve is equipped with a rotary shut-off and distribution element connected to the drive mechanism by means of a magnetic contactless clutch containing the driven and driving half-couplings, while the valve and the driven half-coupling are installed coaxially inside the heat pipe, and the driving half-coupling and the drive mechanism are located outside the heat pipe.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of regulation by maintaining the set temperature of the device itself, the reliability of the valve, as well as expanding the layout solutions when placing an adjustable ALHP as part of the thermal control system.
