FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the pulp and paper, food, perfume and cosmetics, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, rubber, paint and varnish industries. The method for producing chemically precipitated chalk involves grinding calcite and heating it in a furnace. Calcium oxide obtained as a result of calcite heating is mixed with water to obtain slaked lime in a ratio of 11-15 wt. %, of calcium oxide and 85-89 wt. %, of water. Mixing of calcium oxide with water is accompanied by bubbling of ozone through lime milk with mechanical intensification. Next, filtration from impurities is carried out, slaked lime is treated with carbon dioxide to obtain chemically precipitated chalk in the sediment, drying and grinding.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the purity and whiteness of chemically precipitated chalk by removing coloring impurities from slaked lime.
