FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: combined apparatus for self-recovery of a vehicle is made in the form of a composite tubular structure and consists of several parts: the main central, left, and right parts, connected with an additional fuel tank. The tank is made in the form of a log. Removable supports, hollow on the inside, open at one end and closed with stoppers at the opposite end, are installed on face ends of the tank. Connecting elements are made on the stoppers, in the form of a plate fixed at one end on the stopper of the removable support, a fastening for attaching the tubular part of the apparatus is made on the other end. The same fastening is located in the middle part of the additional fuel tank for attaching the central tubular part. Flat supporting surfaces made of a strong material are installed on the elements of the tubular structure, the supporting surface whereof is no less than or greater than the supporting surface of the log. The additional tank comprises a longitudinal body with two end bottoms of partitions installed inside the body, attached thereto by welding, a filler neck made on the body and a fuel discharge plug. The partitions follow the shape of the cross-section of the body, expand the tank on all sides, and divide the internal cavity into a number of chambers intercommunicating through holes. The holes are formed by cuts in the partitions and by walls of the body. The tank comprises an autonomous transfer pump with a check valve at the outlet. The pump is connected by a pipeline with one of the external fuel tanks using a connecting coupling or with a fitting connected to the fuel supply system of the tank from additional fuel barrels. A system for supplying spent exhaust gases from the engine to the fuel tank in the course of use of fuel therefrom is installed on the tank. The system consists of a fitting connected with the exhaust system of the armoured vehicle by means of a pipeline, a flame extinguisher, a valve for releasing excess pressure in the tank, and an apparatus for emergency tank release.
EFFECT: reduction in the dimensions and weight of the apparatus, reduction in the labour intensity of assembly and disassembly combined with an increase in the range, are achieved.
