FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: protective face shield relates to the field of medicine, namely, to personal protection equipment for the upper airways, visual organs, and can be used for protection of the population from bacterial infections, from direct ingress of small particles and dust into the eyes and respiratory organs. The protective face shield comprises a headgear configured to be adjusted in length. In the front, the protective shield has a visor installed at a distance from the headgear and connected thereto at the sides by means of a hinged connection. A transparent screen is fixed on the lower edge of the visor. At least one fan is installed on the inner surface of the visor. At least one fan is connected by wires to at least one power supply located on the edges of the inner semicircular surface of the visor. The power supply is configured to be recharged.

EFFECT: creation of a protective face shield with a system for active point ventilation of the inner space wherein the air flow covers the entire inner space of the protective shield from the upper to the lower part due to the fact that the visor of the protective face shield has at least one fan on the inner surface located opposite the headgear, placed so as to provide a downward air flow throughout the entire inner space of the protective shield.
