FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in control circuits for switching a three-phase electrical load with indication of operating modes. The AC magnetic starter consists of a fixed 1 and a movable 2 parts of the W-shaped magnetic system, a multi-turn coil 3, which is located on the middle rod of the fixed part 1 of the magnetic circuit and contains three outputs 4, 5, 6, of which output 4 is connected to any of the terminals of the two-wire electrical network 7 and to any of the terminals of the light-signaling armature 8. Output 5 is connected to the remaining terminal of the light-signal armature 8, and pin 6 to the remaining terminal of the single-phase electrical network 7. Pins 4 and 6 are the ends of the multi-turn coil 3, and pin 5 is a branch from the n-th turn against the direction of winding of the multi-turn coil 3. The choice of the nth turn of the coil is described by the formula w2=w1·U2/U1, where w1 is the number of turns in the multi-turn coil, w2 is the number of the nth turn against the direction of winding of the multi-turn coil 3, U1 is the voltage value of a single-phase electrical network 7, U2 is value of the selected supply voltage of the light-signaling armature 8.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the AC magnetic starter and simplifying the electrical circuit for controlling the switching and signaling the operating modes (on/off).
