FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of using geophysical methods for solving problems of technical and economic optimisation of the algorithms of searching, development of hydrocarbon deposits (HCD) and operation of underground gas storage facilities (UGS). The substance of the invention consists in conducting, for a predetermined period of time, simultaneous ground seismic and gravimetric measurements (measurements of gravity variations) over a network of joint seismic-gravitational stations located in a certain way at the target survey site, followed by joint interpretation of the received data. A conclusion about the presence/absence of hydrocarbons (HC) and the spatial location thereof is made based on the correlation of the dynamic characteristics of the spectral power of the seismic signal on the measured frequencies and the gravitational anomalies. A method recording the parameters of the natural seismic wavefield of the Earth as informative is used as a seismic method. Natural seismic vibrations are recorded in the frequency range from 0.1 to 20 Hz, measured simultaneously over three orthogonal components (Z, N-S, W-E) to exclude interference not related to the underlying surveyed processes, the interference from ground man-made sources is excluded by setting the time of continuous recording of the readings (at least 60 minutes).
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of detection and economic efficiency of development of hydrocarbon deposits and operation of UGS by determining and monitoring the spatial distribution of the hydrocarbon content in productive formations.
