FIELD: seismic research, possible use in oil extractive industry, namely for controlling and monitoring development of oil formations.
SUBSTANCE: in claimed method, periodic synchronous registration of seismic acoustic emission is performed in face zone of one or more wells and simultaneously at day surface by means of a seismic antenna (a group of seismic receivers), positioned above face area of aforementioned wells and specialized recording equipment. By using special methods for processing registration records, spatial zones of micro-seismic activity are selected, selected zones are analyzed together with their intensity change during development of formation, correlation of micro-seismic activity with intensity of extraction/forcing of fluid into formation is estimated as well as change of filtration channels, advance of water front from force wells, crack zones, fractured zones and the like are detected. Thus, periodic control of intensity and spatial position of micro-seismic activity zones is performed during development of formation, making it possible to monitor the behavior of formation with the goal of optimizing its development.
