FIELD: doors.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a door drive and a method implemented in the door drive (1) for movement of at least one door leaf (5) between the closed and the open positions, wherein the method includes a drive unit (2), a control unit (3) and an observation unit (4), and wherein the drive unit (2) is configured for attaching and moving at least one door leaf (5) between the open and the closed positions, the control unit (3) is attached to the drive unit (2) and configured to control the movement of the drive unit (2), the observation unit (4) includes one or several sensors (6-1, 6-2, …, 6-m) configured to provide data from the sensors associated with the operation of the door drive (1) and/or at least one door leaf (5); a state control unit (12) configured to receive sensor data from said one or several sensors (6-1, 6-2, …, 6-m); determining the pattern of the state of operation of the door drive (1) and/or the door leaf (5) from multiple operation state patterns of the door drive (1) and/or the door leaf (5) at least based on the received sensor data, wherein at least the first state pattern from the multiple state pattern is associated with a state change event, and activating the state change event in response to determining at least the first state pattern.

EFFECT: provided movement of a door leaf by means of a drive.
