FIELD: hydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy and can be used in the extraction of gold from gold-containing raw materials. The extraction of gold from gold-containing raw materials includes the treatment of raw materials with a leaching solution containing acid, sodium chloride and a chlorine-containing oxidizer, which is used as chloroisocyanurates. The leaching solution has a pH of 4-6. During the processing of raw materials, the oxidative potential of the leaching solution is controlled and maintained in the range of + 0.7-1.3 V by introducing hydrogen peroxide into the leaching solution.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve environmental performance in the processing of gold-containing raw materials while reducing the consumption of chlorine-containing reagents by 1.5-2 times.
