FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering, in particular to the working bodies of cultivators for surface, pre-sowing and continuous tillage of soil heavily clogged with weeds, and can be used to reduce traction resistance and prevent plant residues from enveloping the rack of the working bodies of cultivators and other tillage tools. The working body of the cultivator includes a freely rotating disc knife installed in front of the cultivator sweep stand in alignment with it with the possibility of adjusting the depth of immersion in the soil. In this case, the disc knife is attached directly to the stand of the cultivator sweep. The disc knife is made in the form of a freely rotating needle disk installed at an angle of attack to the direction of movement equal to half the angle of the sweep opening. The axis of the disc is rigidly fixed on a leash, pivotally connected to the rack. A shock-absorbing device in the form of a spring is installed between the leash and the rack, fixed with one end to the rack and the other to the leash.
EFFECT: invention reduces traction resistance, increases the productivity and quality of tillage by completely cutting weeds in the upper horizon of the soil, as well as eliminates the overhang of stems on the rack and prevents the removal of wet soil to the treated surface.
