FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, power engineering, and creation of wind turbine units (WTU). The wind engine comprises a hub, N blades, N electromagnets, a special tachogenerator, a rectifier and, a balancing apparatus. One end of the core of the electromagnet is connected with the base of a blade through a rod and a bracket, a return spring and an adjustment nut are fixed at the other end of the core, and the output of the three-phase tachogenerator is connected to the winding of the electromagnet through the rectifier and the balancing apparatus.
EFFECT: use of the invention results in a structural simplification of the WTU and an increase in the security thereof, as well as ensured stabilisation of the rotation rate of the wind wheel and protection of the elements of the WTU from destruction in case of strong wind gusts.
