SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the contact network. The method for removing the contact network consists in freeing the space above railway vehicles from the contact network, while the contact network is removed by moving it up in the vertical direction to the contact network support, for which the geometry of the contact network is changed. In this case, the geometry of the contact network is changed by means of a drive, a system of rods and pivoting nodes connecting the traction system with the support of the contact network and with the transition profile connected to the contact wire. The contact network removal device contains a drive and a damping element, upper and lower supporting structures placed on the contact network support, pivoting units, a drive rod, a console supporting the rod, a synchronizing rod and an adjustment rod. At the same time, rod locking insulators are placed on the adjusting rod, the synchronizing rod and the non-insulated console.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the contact network branch while ensuring the maximum size for the operation of vertical loaders in the loading/unloading zone of freight cars.
