SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology, agriculture, in particular to methods for obtaining a humate-containing preparation, and can be used in the production of preparations that restore soil fertility, as well as in the production of preparations for the extraction and detoxification of heavy metals, radionuclides, decomposition of petroleum hydrocarbons in wastewater, industrial sludge, in soils. A method for producing a multifunctional biopolymer sorbent involves mixing crushed peat, solid alkali and succinic acid, obtaining a mixture that is further dispersed in a cavitator. Mixing of crushed peat, solid alkali and succinic acid is carried out at the following ratio of components: peat 900 kg, alkali 100 kg, succinic acid 5 mg. Dispersion of the resulting mixture is carried out at a temperature of 75-95°C for 14-20 minutes, obtaining a concentrated multifunctional biopolymer sorbent in the form of a finely dispersed mass. The concentrated multifunctional biopolymer sorbent is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:100-1500, obtaining a working solution of the sorbent as a finished product. The concentrated multifunctional biopolymer sorbent is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1000-10000, obtaining a working solution of the sorbent as an activator for the restoration of damaged biota of soil formation.

EFFECT: increase in the content of biologically active substances in the form of humic acids in the final product with an increased sorption capacity and an expanded spectrum of its effects, reducing energy consumption and simplifying the hardware design of the process, reducing the cost of the final product.
