FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation and can be used for operational locking of various doors and hatch covers using a standard aviation key insert of increased secrecy, including on helicopters. A cylindrical lock for aviation equipment contains a housing (1), a key insert (5) and a latch (10) with a handle (4). The key insert (5) is inserted into the housing (1), a shutter (2) with a cam (6) in the form of an eccentric is located motionless and coaxially with the said shaft on the shaft of the key insert (5). At the same time, a handle (4) is located on the key insert (5), in addition, a ball (7) is located in the radial channel between the shutter (2) and the housing (1). The shutter (2) is combined with the latch (10). The flat spots on the shaft of the key insert (5) are combined with a profiled hole in the cylindrical part of the shutter (2). The mutual position of the cam (6) and the ball (7) is such that the shutter (2) can rotate relative to the housing (1) when a torque is applied to the handle (4).
EFFECT: reduction in the dimensions and weight of the lock is achieved.
