FIELD: conveyor systems.
SUBSTANCE: system of links for moving ore from the first end of a conveyor to the second end of a conveyor contains the first link and the second link. The first link contains the first side edge and the first indicator. The second link contains the second side edge and the second indicator. The second link is connected to the first link so that the first side edge of the first link overlaps with the second side edge of the second link. The elongation of the first link in the direction of movement causes the movement of the first indicator relatively to the second indicator, and the position of the first indicator relatively to the second indicator provides an indication of the wear condition of the first link. In some aspects, the first surface and/or the second surface of one of links contains a wear indicator representing the wear state of the surface.
EFFECT: visual indication of link wear is provided.
