SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conveyors for materials, in particular to chain scraper conveyors. Link for the conveyor chain comprises a first part and a second part laterally spaced from the first part. First part comprises the first sprocket engaging pin, and the second part comprises the second sprocket engaging pin. First sprocket engaging pin and the second sprocket engaging pin protrude laterally from each other. Each of the first sprocket engaging pin and the second sprocket engaging pin may have an elongated cross section. At least one retainer can prevent the connecting pin from moving relative to at least one of the first part and the second part, and each retainer can be located substantially inside one of the first part and the second part.
EFFECT: chain conveyor and link for it are proposed.
