SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural industry, in particular, to a method for reducing endogenous losses of calcium, potassium and magnesium in the pectoral muscles, and calcium, sodium in the femoral muscles in broiler chickens. The method is characterised by the fact that broiler chickens on a mineral-deficient diet are administered the Bifidumbacterin preparation per os once a day at a dosage of 1.0 g/kg of feed.
EFFECT: use of the invention will provide a possibility to maintain the level of calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium in the body of chickens.
