The fungicidal composition comprises an effective amount, in terms of fungicidal action, of the compound by the formula (I), 4-((6-(2-(2,4- difluorophenyl)-1,1-difluoro-2-hydroxy-3-(5-thioxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazole-1-yl)propyl)pyridine-3-yl)oxy)-benzonitrile,

and phenpicoxamide for fighting fungal diseases of wheat. The invention also relates to a method for fighting fungal diseases and preventing fungal diseases on wheat, wherein the method includes a stage of applying an effective amount, in terms of fungicidal action, of a preparation including a compound by the formula (I)

and phenpicoxamide, at least on one plant, on the land plot adjacent to the plant, on the soil intended for supporting the growth of the plant, on the roots of the plant, on the leaves of the plant, and on the seeds intended for growing the plant.

EFFECT: present invention ensures effectiveness of fighting fungal diseases, such as true mildew of wheat (Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici), eyespot mosaic of wheat (Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides), brown rust of wheat (puccinia triticina); yellow rust of wheat (puccinia striiformis), leaf spot of wheat (Zymoseptoria tritici), Septoria blotch of wheat glume (Parastagonospora nodorum), Fusarium head blight (FHB) of wheat (Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium culmorum), and diseases caused by a species of fungi, selected from the group consisting of Cochliobolus sativum, Pyrenophora teres, Rhizoctonia solani and Pyricularia oryzae.
