FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tracked vehicle containing a vehicle body and a pair of tracked units. A pair of tracked units is designed with the ability to support the vehicle body suspended, allowing relative movement between the vehicle body and each tracked unit (21) of a pair of tracked units. Each track unit (21) contains a track support beam (22), designed to support a plurality of road wheels (23, 23a), a driving wheel (24) and an engine (110). The track belt (25) is located around the road wheels (23, 23a) and the drive wheel (24). The engine (110) is motionless on the support beam (22) of the caterpillar. The engine (110) is positioned in connection with the drive wheel (24) in such a way that the engine axis is essentially coaxially aligned with the central axis (Z) of the drive wheel (24).
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and efficiency of the transmission is achieved.
