FIELD: shaving equipment.
SUBSTANCE: blade support for a safety razor includes an inner surface and an outer surface. The blade support comprises an elongated lower section, an elongated upper section, and an elongated intermediate bending section between said sections. The elongated upper section of the support extends forward from the intermediate bending section to the upper side. The elongated lower section extends downwards from the intermediate bending section to the lower side. The blade support has a maximum thickness from 0.12 to 0.21 mm. The inner surface on the intermediate bending section of the blade support has a radius of curvature in the range from 0.11 to 0.40 mm. The upper side and/or lower side of the blade support are curved surfaces. The invention also includes a cutting element of a razor head, a razor head, and a mechanical safety razor.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of shaving.
