FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely to the creation of volumetric cellular structures, for example, geocells or spatial-polymer geogrids used to strengthen geotechnical structures and strengthen the weak foundations of industrial and civil objects, as well as slopes of coastlines and channels of reservoirs, during the construction of airfields, road clothes, slopes, retaining walls. The invention can be used in oil and gas, transport, hydraulic engineering and other sectors of the national economy. A flexible strip made of polymeric material for the production of a three-dimensional cellular structure contains reinforcing elements and protrusions located on the strip surface. Reinforcing elements are placed in contact with the surface of the strip and are embedded in the said protrusions at the intersection of the protrusions and reinforcing elements.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of means providing the creation of a volumetric cellular structure from flexible strips of polymer material, which are characterized by high tensile strength, as well as increased resistance to cutting of polymer material by reinforcing elements under transverse loads.
