SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to the use of a preparation for the treatment of elementoses in a subject. The use of a preparation of lateral shoots or leaves of Polyscias filicifolia plant, obtained by alcohol extraction of the plant or by a biotechnological method for plant cell culture, for the treatment of elementoses in a subject in need of it is proposed, where elementoses are induced by ingestion of an extraneous chemical compound to the organism of the subject deviations in the content in one or several internal organs of the subject of at least one essential element selected from a group: Ca, Cr, I, Mn, Cu, Mg, Fe, Zn without the need to use sources or chelators of essential elements, the content of which is violated. The use of a preparation of lateral shoots or leaves of Polyscias filicifolia plant, obtained by a biotechnological method for plant cell culture, for the treatment of elementoses in a subject in need of it is proposed, where elementoses are induced by ingestion of an extraneous chemical compound and/or an infectious disease to the organism of a subject deviations in the content in one or more internal organs of the subject of at least one essential element selected from a group: Ca, Cu, Mg, Fe, Zn without the need to use sources or chelators of essential elements, the content of which is violated.

EFFECT: above-described use of the preparation obtained from lateral shoots or leaves of Polyscias filicifolia plant is effective for the treatment of elementoses in the subject.
