SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to the side bearings of bogies of railway cars. The side bearing contains a body, a wear plate, a movable glass and an elastic element. The body consists of a cylindrical part and a base. The glass is telescopically installed in the cylindrical part of the body with the possibility of reciprocating movement. The elastic element is placed between the sleeve and the wear plate installed in the body. An annular recess is made on the outer surface of the end part of the glass, connected to the radial recesses. The recesses are filled with antifriction lubricant.

EFFECT: invention reduces wear on the side bearing glass.
