SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to measure the levels of the interface of media. The capacitive sensor contains a base, a sensing element, and the base contains the first part containing a niche with a lid for hermetically placing an electronic computing unit and a hole for the output cable, the second part, which has holes for embedded bushings, has holes for fasteners and ventilation holes on the side surface, and the sensing element is a housing for electrodes, which is a metal profile formed by the connection of several tubes, in this case, each profile tube contains a vent and a slot, while the electrode housing contains electrodes rigidly fixed in each of the profile tubes, which are metal tubes having the same unit-length capacitance, but differing in length, and the housing is formed by connecting several geometrically similar housings by means of a coupling.
EFFECT: increase in reliability, accuracy and manufacturability of the product.
