FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining shock loads on the chassis of a self-propelled artillery gun when fired, in which the reproduction of shock loading by the recoil parts of the gun is provided by the impact of a freely falling mass, equal in magnitude to the mass of the recoil parts loading one roller. The speed of the freely falling mass is equal to the maximum recoil speed, while the stresses on the roller and the shock absorption and acceleration devices on the roller, tower and hull simulators are recorded.
EFFECT: increasing the dynamic stability of the SPA when fired.
