FIELD: connecting elements.

SUBSTANCE: invention generally relates to connecting elements for folding awning frame structures. The effect is achieved in that the hinged connecting unit for the frame-tent structure contains a housing with a base made in the form of a single whole in the form of a round plate and an adjoining cover, while the base contains at least three through holes equidistant from the center, for each of which a through groove is provided in the lid, open in the radial direction and defining in the body of the lid a cavity with a spherical wall bounded by the walls of the through groove, wherein each cavity is made with the possibility of hinged placement of a socket in it, which has the shape of a truncated hollow ball, the flat part of which, the first base, is also the base of the sleeve, mated with the spherical part of the socket, while the spherical part of the socket, hingedly located in the body cavity, additionally truncated so that it has a second base, the plane of which is perpendicular to the plane of the first base, and the through holes in the base of the body have a cross-sectional shape of the socket in plan, with a plane passing through the center of the spherical part of the socket and parallel to the plane of the first base.

EFFECT: obtaining a simple reliable collapsible connecting element with a minimum number of parts, suitable for repair in the field, as well as providing increased strength of the assembled frame-tent structure and resource in its operation.
