FIELD: interlocking joints.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to interlocking joints with their sealing elements used for the construction of sheet pile walls in the ground, leading screens during mine workings of anti-filtration devices, metal diaphragms of earthen half-tines and other structures. The locking connection of the tongue-and-groove elements with a seal includes an outer female and an inner male element, respectively, belonging to adjacent tongue-and-groove elements and mounted on the same axis with a gap between them, in which a waterproofing seal is placed. A channel is artificially created in the gap, taking into account it as complete filling as possible with a sealant, which is made in the form of a section of a profile made of a hydrophilic material that has the ability to increase its volume when it comes into contact with water.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the lock connection while simplifying its design and implementation technology, ensuring the expansion of the possibilities of using sheet pile locks for various types of construction.
