FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigation and can be used in strapdown inertial navigation systems (SINS). The inertial measuring module (IMM) consists of three dynamically tuned gyroscopes (DTG), the centers of mass of the rotors of which are displaced relative to the center of the elastic suspension, due to which the gyroscopes become sensitive to the linear acceleration of the base. The DTG outputs are connected to a computing device that extracts information about the projections of the absolute angular velocity and linear acceleration acting on the object from the DTG signals by finding the roots of the system of six equations at each step of solving the navigation problem.
EFFECT: device does not have accelerometers, which allows reducing the weight and dimensions of the SINS.
