FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: in gyro with elastic suspension of flywheel-carrier of kinetic moment there is used torque generator which ring magnet located on stator is made in the form of ferromagnetic three-leg core with plane passing through axis of cylinder that envelopes flywheel and is anchor of torque generator. Mid-section of cylinder carries ring permanent magnet and windings of torque generator are laid in its side parts each part coming in the form of four poles arranged uniformly over circumference and facing anchor. Face surfaces of flywheel in zero ( non-deviated ) position of flywheel are located at equal distances from face surfaces of stator. It is proposed that teeth should be cut in poles of stator and in rim of flywheel uniformly over circumference and that teeth of stator should carry windings of angle- data transmitter connected in accord with differential circuit to diminish dimensions and mass of instrument by way of combination of functions of angle-data transmitter and torque generator in single element. EFFECT: increased accuracy and widened range of measured angular velocities with maintenance of linear dependence of moment on current in windings. 1 cl, 3 dwg
