FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to supply power to autonomous objects that require a stable AC network at a variable speed of rotation of the generator shaft. In the method for controlling an autonomous asynchronous generator, the frequency of the rotor voltage is set, which is proportional to the difference between the frequency of the output voltage of the generator and the rotor speed, multiplied by the number of pole pairs of the generator. Signals for setting instantaneous values of sinusoidal three-phase voltages of the rotor winding, offset relative to each other by an angle of 2π/3 are generated. Comparison of the difference between the set and actual values of the three-phase output voltages of the generator in three-phase relay-hysteresis voltage regulators with a threshold level, when exceeded, signals are fed to the control inputs of the inverter, switch the key elements of the inverter and achieve a decrease in the deviation between the set and measured signals of phase voltages to a value less than the threshold level. The voltage at the output of the rectifier is regulated with the battery disconnected. The output current of the generator is measured, the speed of rotation of the generator shaft is reduced as the output current of the generator decreases. The maximum permissible angular frequency of rotation of the generator is limited to 90% of the desired rotational speed of the stator field.
