FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to control systems for AC drives with frequency converters. In the start-up control method, the amplitude and frequency of the motor voltage are coordinated with the help of relay voltage regulators, having determined the amplitude of the motor current, the signal for setting the voltage amplitude is corrected. With the help of a relay controller and logic blocks, the first fully controlled valve located in the DC link between the rectifier and the reactor is periodically turned on and off, and energy is dosed from the unregulated rectifier through the reactor and inverter to the engine. When the valve is turned off, a circuit is created for the current to flow due to the reverse diode introduced into the DC link, when the motor is switched to synchronous mode, the rotor windings are connected to the DC link of the frequency converter. To compensate for the voltage drop on the rotor windings and if the voltage at the rectifier input is insufficient to obtain the required motor voltage, periodically, using relay controllers and logic blocks, the second fully controlled valve is switched on and off, installed according to the inverter input, and by increasing the current passing through smoothing reactor when the second valve is on, and adding to the rectified voltage the EMF of the self-induction of the reactor when the second valve is off, increase the motor voltage.
EFFECT: obtaining absolutely rigid mechanical characteristics in the steady state, reducing the stator current consumption at a given static load, stabilizing the starting current and starting torque of the motor.
