FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an internal clamp for the assembly and welding of annular seams with the formation of the reverse side of the seam during arc welding by melting. The clamp consists of at least two rotating rollers located in a vertical plane, one of which is forming, and the other is centering. On the outer surface of the forming roller, an annular groove is made along the perimeter, in the middle of the width of which through holes are made at the same distance from each other along its entire length. A ring with a full overlap of the groove in width and partial in depth is mounted on the forming roller. The ring on the perimeter from the outside in the middle part has an annular groove, along the length of which through holes are made at the same distance from each other. The groove and through holes are designed to supply protective gas to the area of the reverse side of the seam. The forming and centering rollers are mounted on compression mechanisms consisting of a fork and a spring. The preloading mechanisms are connected to the rod by means of a detachable threaded clamp.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the internal clamp and improved quality of the weld with the formation of the reverse side of the seam.
