FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used in geodesy in creation and development of special purpose reference networks in positional areas, as well as in engineering and geodetic support of building and operation of objects. The method for transmitting orientation includes conducting operations in installation of the apparatus at the initial point, performing linear and angular measurements. A second apparatus is therein installed near the nodal point, and the directions to the reference points are measured, two helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are installed, wherein an air line is formed between said UAVs at an altitude providing a possibility of synchronous observation of the UAV1 and UAV2 with the apparatuses I and II, and the directions and distances to the UAV1 and UAV2 are measured without changing the orientation of the apparatuses, the orientation is transmitted from the first apparatus installed arbitrarily inside the initial reference network to the second apparatus installed arbitrarily inside the reference network in the positional area through the direction of the air line between the UAV1 and UAV2. The values of the orienting angles of the apparatuses are therein used, determined relative to the directions to the reference points and the direction of the air line between the two UAVs.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and promptness of orientation, as well as reduction in the labour costs.
