FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to means and methods of orienting mobile radar stations in a known direction to a reference point using an optical sighting device. In a radar orientation system along a known reference direction, which includes an optical sighting device mounted on a landing site located on the side of the antenna mirror, wherein the optical axis of the sighting device is parallel to the electrical axis of the antenna, which is rigidly connected to the azimuthal drive and to the device for reading its directional angle in the horizontal plane, introduced are a geodetic pole, functionally connected to the sighting device, and a device for imaging the moment of alignment of the projection on the earth's surface of the electrical centre of the antenna with the reference point – the installation site of the radar station. Into the sighting device an infrared observation channel is introduced, as a receiver in which a microbolometric matrix is used, geodesic pole is equipped with a telescopic rod with a measuring scale, which enables to measure the installation point of the pole emitter at a distance equal to the distance of the parallel displacement of the optical axis of the sight from the electrical axis of the antenna in the azimuthal projection, is installed along the optical axis of the sighting device at distance of 60 to 200 m from the electrical centre of the radar station and is a source of infrared radiation, which is optically connected to the receiving channel of the sighting device.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining the directional angle of installation and shorter time for the process of topographic geodetic referencing of the radar station on an orientation-free area and in conditions of insufficient visibility.
