FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of composite building materials, namely, to compositions of bitumen mastics that can be used to seal joints and cracks in concrete and asphalt concrete coatings, as well as in the construction of industrial and civil structures. The mastic includes petroleum road bitumen, mechanically activated petroleum coke with particle sizes up to 5 microns and a polymer additive in the form of butyl rubber or synthetic cis-isoprene rubber, with the following component ratio, wt. %: petroleum road bitumen 68-78, mechanically activated petroleum coke 17-25, butyl rubber or synthetic cis-isoprene rubber 5-7.
EFFECT: production of bitumen mastic with high performance indicators, which provide a reduced brittleness temperature, an increase in elongation at tension, an increased softening temperature using the ring and bell method, an increase in tensile strength, as well as a shortened production time at significantly low temperatures and reduced cost.
