FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, namely to charging cases for an electronic vaping device. A charging case for an electronic vaping device contains a sensor made with the possibility of receiving authentication information from an identifying label of a cartridge of the electronic vaping device. The charging case also includes a processing scheme connected to the sensor. The processing scheme is made with the possibility of performing the cartridge authentication based on authentication information and determining the need for unlocking a battery compartment of the electronic vaping device to supply power to the cartridge based on the result of the cartridge authentication.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the device due to the elimination of the possibility of using fake cartridges in the vaping device.
