FIELD: military technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military technology and relates to a simulator of air targets. The simulator contains a starting motor with stabilizers that ensure the rotation of the simulator, a board for the electronic delay of turning on the tracers, a compartment for tracers, a main engine and a head compartment with a ballistic tip. The tracers are placed in a metal mesh with a cross section of 3-6 mm to exclude the separation of the burning pyrotechnic composition.
EFFECT: increasing the stability of combustion of the pyrotechnic composition and ensuring the level of infrared radiation sufficient for stable capture and guidance of thermal homing heads and optoelectronic systems for detecting, capturing and tracking targets along the entire flight path.
