FIELD: simulation of moving targets. SUBSTANCE: air target simulator is fitted with tail part. Head and tail parts come in the form of separable modules and are designed to create radar and/or infrared image of target. Nozzles of rocket engine are anchored on side surface of body in diametrical opposition and sidewise with reference to its longitudinal axis. In addition simulator is fitted with false heat-releasing and/or radar targets mounted on it for separation over flight trajectory. It is equipped with receiver and unit for self-liquidation on flight trajectory and with system registering miss of attacking object. It also carries tracing unit to form infrared radiation and target visualization. EFFECT: widened technical potential, increased versatility and safety, diminished cost of simulator as well as possibility of evaluation of actual result of shooting. 5 cl, 2 dwg
