FIELD: wind power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power and can be used to modernize existing wind generators operating as part of wind farms. The wind generator contains a tower, a gondola with electromechanical equipment, blades and a hub. There is a fixed spiral rib on the tower, which creates an upward air flow rotating around the axis of the tower. The outer surfaces of the tower and the ribs are electrically heated. In the upper part of the tower there is a scroll chamber fixed motionlessly on the lower part of the gondola and converting the rotational movement of the air flow into kinetic energy. At the exit of the scroll chamber there is a nozzle and an obturator fixed on the hub with holes that are located opposite the back surface of each blade.

EFFECT: reduction in the oscillatory effect of wind on the tower and an increase in the utilization factor of the wind load.
