SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A laser effect is carried out in a micropulse mode in a fovea. 0.05 ml of ranibizumab is preliminarily injected intravitreally, then after 2 weeks the patient undergoes optical coherence tomography (OCT), which is used to assess the central thickness of the retina (CTR) in the fovea. If the CTR in the fovea is 350 mcm or less, then a combined laser treatment is performed: micropulse laser exposure and threshold laser coagulation along the zones of edema and ischemia from the arcades to the fovea and around the retinal arteriolar macroaneurysm (RAM) zone. If the CTR in the fovea is more than 350 mcm, then one month after the first administration of ranibizumab, an additional administration of 0.05 ml of ranibizumab is carried out, after two weeks, OCT is performed. If the CTR in the fovea is more than 350 mcm, then the specified sequence of actions, including the administration of ranibizumab and OCT, is repeated until the CTR reaches 350 mcm or less, and then a combined laser treatment is performed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to achieve resorption of intraretinal cystic fluid accumulation in the RAM zone with its gradual involution, resorption of hemorrhages and edema, to reduce the thickness of the retina, to increase visual acuity and photosensitivity, as well as to reduce the duration or completely eliminate the long-term use of drugs and to carry out multiple intravitreal injections of angiogenesis inhibitors.
