FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, in particular to compositions and methods for producing a powder of a tungsten-free hard alloy, and can be used for the manufacture of sintered products, the application of wear-resistant coatings for the restoration and hardening of machine parts of the mining and metallurgical industry, automobile, tram-trolleybus and ship transport. A method for producing tungsten-free hard-alloy micro- and nano-sized spherical powders from tungsten-free hard alloy waste includes electroerosive dispersion of hard alloy waste. Electroerosive dispersion in distilled water of wastes of tungsten-free hard alloy grade KNT-16 is carried out at a pulse repetition rate of 100-105 Hz, a voltage on the electrodes of 200-205 V and a capacitance of 65.5 mcF, then the resulting solution is centrifuged containing micro-, nano- and a coarse powder to separate the coarse powder therefrom, after which the solution containing the micro- and nano-sized powder is subjected to evaporation, and the resulting micro- and nano-sized powder is dried.
EFFECT: invention ensures environmental friendliness of obtaining powder of tungsten-free hard alloy.
