FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, in particular to a method for producing a powder of a tungsten-free hard alloy, and can be used for the manufacture of sintered products, the application of wear-resistant coatings for the restoration and hardening of machine parts. A method for producing tungsten-free hard-alloy micro- and nano-sized spherical powders from tungsten-free hard alloy waste includes electroerosive dispersion of hard alloy waste. Waste of tungsten-free hard alloy KNT-16 is subjected to electroerosive dispersion in ethanol at a pulse repetition rate of 95-105 Hz, a voltage across the electrodes of 195-205 V and a capacitance of 25.5 mcF, then the resulting solution is centrifuged containing micro-, nano- and a coarse powder to separate the coarse powder therefrom, after which the solution containing the micro- and nano-sized powder is subjected to evaporation, and the resulting micro- and nano-sized powder is dried.
EFFECT: powder material is obtained from the finished tungsten-free hard alloy by the method of electroerosive dispersion, there is no need to sinter components for further grinding and obtaining the final product, which significantly reduces the energy consumption and cost of the process.
